This stock medical exhibit shows post-accident retinal detachment of the right eye in a series of illustrations. The first illustration shows normal anatomy of the eye in a cut-away view, including the sclera, iris, cornea, lens, extraocular muscles, vitreous body, retina, optic nerve and optic disc in a sagittal view. The second illustration shows the post-accident condition in a sagittal view of the eye, including subconjunctival hemorrhage, a tear in the iris, avulsion of the vitreous body and retinal detachment of the right eye.
